A HIPAA-compliant typing application designed by an MTSO for MTSOs who type in an EHR. This application counts each keystroke and mouse click an MT types inside an EHR, yielding a character count and subsequent line count that can be reviewed and verified. Values are assigned to each key on the keyboard and each mouse click, which is inserted into a formula that translates to a line count. Scribe-It features also include auto-text (word expander) inside the EHR, an easy method for colleagues to review word questions by listening to the dictation and giving feedback, a summary of keystrokes, and billing reports.
